Update: Doctor Who thoughts
So I’ve officially caught up with Doctor Who just in time for tomorrows new episode :) Really wish I made a post/written down the first day I started watching because I feel like it was VERY recent.
Not liking Amy Pond as a character. I thought she would grow on me (a la Donna Noble) but I find her very 2-dimensional and it irks me that she has had ‘the right answer’ so many times. Also I feel like 1/2 her lines are just her yelling out ‘doctor,’ i’m also disappointed with Steven Moffet as show-runner. With “Blink” and “Girl in the fireplace” being 2 of my most favourite episodes I had high hopes but I found myself not really paying attention to quite a few episodes of season 5. With RTD the show seemed more focused whereas with Moffet I’m just always confused which is fine except usually (as seen in season 5 finale) there is no resolution to the confusion.
